The Style Suite - Colour Analysis, Personal Styling & More - Cardiff, South Wales & Online
Hey! I’m Jo, and I’m changing the way you shop. I don’t want you to constantly chase trends trying to dress like someone else. I want you to be uniquely and authentically YOU.
Embracing your Colours, your Shape, your Style.
I believe personal styling is for EVERYONE, and that it can benefit everyone too. We’ve all wasted money on aspirational pieces that just hang in our wardrobe, unworn and calling us names.
That’s why I am opening my Style Suite. Located in the heart of Cardiff, I hope to make personal styling as accessible and acceptable as visiting the hairdresser.
I’m not looking to style you for life and I want to empower as many people as possible with the tools they need to shop and dress successfully.
You’ll leave each of my one of styling services equipped with everything you need to start harnessing your own personal style… Saving money by buying better, and buying less, right away..
Want more support? I can help with wardrobe edits and personal shopping. However, I’ll also be providing help free of charge via my dedicated Personal Styling Facebook group and newsletter; helping you keep the knowledge fresh and stay on track.
I’ve always been interested in art, fashion and self-care. However struggled to align these interests with my core values. Such as being humble, being kind to the planet, and making a positive impact.
I initially studied Art, Hairdressing, and Make-Up and spent 5 years working for a department store. I loved working with people and building women’s confidence but ultimately decided I didn’t want to work in industries that promoted unattainable beauty standards and consumption. I later pursued a career working with vulnerable groups, and I’ve since been employed within the Education & Training sector.
Although leaving the field, I continued to support people with colour analysis and style advice informally. This is what allowed me to see the positive impact personal styling can have on self confidence and mental wellbeing.
Realising I can use my skills for good, I’ve updated my previous colour theory and stylist knowledge by completing further training with Colour Me Beautiful. I’m excited to start working independently of any brand or retailer, so I can provide honest, impartial advice, and use my skills to develop conscious shopping habits that help people look and feel great!
